Accepting your Kharma's Past Life Debt

" The laws of Reincarnation say that there are things in your past lives, good or bad (known as your “Karma”) and they can find themselves “erased” or, on the contrary “activated” and thus considerably affect your current Life. There are two possible “Karmas”.

“Beneficial Karma”, the one that we can take advantage of and that makes life easier and more pleasant… And “Opposing Karma”, the one that we are subjected to and that makes life sad and difficult.

“Beneficial Karma” is acquired through certain good acts that we have done in past lives. It is a kind of “Karmic Reward” ready to be used in our present life.

I became very confused with the past life thing and explained my understanding of the "law of Karma". So people who are born poor, sick or are continuously struggling in their lives is because in their past life they were bad or evil? And the people who were born privileged, rich, and always having great luck were excellent in their past lives? There is your destiny. Be humble and bear your sufferings patiently. Be good, you can be certain you'll have a much richer and happier life after death? I need to dig deeper, this makes no sense, was our destiny's already predetermined?

I do not believe that our lives were predetermined before birth, I do believe we create our own destiny and I also believe that some people just have bad luck...good people who have lived honest, unselfish lives...can this be Karma?

Yes. Your mind, thoughts, past actions all play a role in Kharma. If a thought keeps coming up in your mind and you act on this thought, you have evoked Kharma, whether that thought was good or bad.

To have a Karma debt paid in full, you must accept the action as yours, learn from the deed, stop at nothing to repair the cause and enjoy the fruits. If you do not learn the lesson and continue the actions of your thoughts, this Karma will follow you into your next life until the lesson is learned. Even if born to a family of privilege.

I believe this has to do with self-forgiveness first and repairing next.  If you can not forgive yourself, you will be locked in this whirlpool of self-indulgence and self-pity, which can only cause unhappiness and desperation and adding to your Karmic Debt.

Making things right is usually easier said than done, however you must deal with all consequences of your actions, even if the action caused an unintentional outcome.  Once you learn the lesson of your action and accept the consequences, your Karma debt will have been paid and you can enjoy the Ultra Beneficial Karma which is one we all enjoy.

One of the reasons I wrote this hub, was because I had some changes going on in my life, circumstances that I did not fully understand. We all know karma as it applies to yourself, your actions...I was still reeling from my past lives karma. How do you know your debt? How do you repay what you don't know you owe? I also learned more about myself through many mediums...I read about my past life and what was revealed had been revealed to me years ago... Wow... 2010, what a year for me!

I had a lot of things going on in my life and having done my numerology on moonwhisper.com I knew it was going to be a rough year.  I was in my 9th year of challenges and I was going to experience a great deal of loss and the closing of many doors.  My reward for completing this challenge is my next year was one of new.  A 0 challenge year, one of doors opening, and great opportunities, a new beginning.

I am in the right place in my life to receive these great blessings.  I have asked the universe to see me through many things in 2010, and out of the blue, a wonderful man has come into my life and he suprisingly has the same dreams and wants, and he laughs and makes me laugh... just what I asked for.

I have a new knowledge of the true meaning of family and friendship.  I guess I was very naive in this meaning, this past year gave me an opportunity to learn who will stand by my side when I really need someone on my side.

My home is one of a place I have only dreamed of.  My creativity is flourishing and is allowing me an abundance of opportunity.  My dream of working and hiking Europe- (9 countries) is a reality in the planning stages.  And a wonderful man that stands by my side, loves me, and makes me laugh.

A new year and a new beginning.
